David Dadswell is the man behind Hastings Vehicle Repairs. I have worked in the car repair business for over 45 years. I first trained at Tates on Vauxhall/Opel vehicles and later Alfa Romeo & Mitsibushi.

 After leaving the trade for a short period to run my own Care home and Guest house with my wife Helen, I then worked for H D Day & Sons and trained as a Mazda Technician and went on to be Workshop foreman.

 After the company sadly closed I started my own Mazda specialist garage in West Sussex, expanding and building an MOT bay and employing 4 technicians over 25 years.

Selling the business in 2013 and moving to Hastings, I worked in a friends garage for a couple of years as a technician/workshop foreman Then I was offered the opportunity of a new role at a local classic car specialist CKL Developments in Battle in admin.

Over the 4 years with them I become the workshop foreman and then general manager, and then covid struck and cut backs had to be made and that's when I started Hasting Vehicle Repairs.
